Exclusively for one of our clients, a leading international player in energy equipment products, we are looking for a Power Products Division Director.

 

Leadership

  • Lead, manage and direct Regional Sales Operation, Sales Management and Business Management by overseeing the day-to-day business, as well as the divisional mid- to long-term strategy, tasks and goals
  • Reinforce and sustain a culture in line with the company Philosophy
  • Organise and attend regular meetings with Key-Members of the team, as well as attend meetings with other senior management members of the Division
  • Continual coaching, developing, and mentoring of direct reports and inspire and motivate the wider Teams by identifying Key-Areas for improvement
  • Ongoing networking with other Senior-Management members

 

Strategy & Planning

  • Define, propose and develop objectives to achieve products sales also in line with Pan European strategy
  • Manage pricing based on PAN-E level policy
  • Oversee the development of network sales and profitability
  • Monitor and evaluate sales trends and general market conditions and advise appropriate actions
  • Define and oversee the implementation of national sales and marketing plans
  • Review and revise department organisation, ways of working, processes and reports as appropriate to improve quality, efficiency, and service

 

Managing Operations

  • Lead monthly and annual regional sales planning processes and procedures
  • Review and analyse the existing dealer network and make recommendations to improve its performance
  • Responsible for an effective and accurate stock-management to ensure that Ageing Stock is in line with TGT-Setting for Common Stock Group
  • Oversee and lead the preparation, presentation, and monitoring of sales PDCA vs budget on monthly/quarterly basis and propose countermeasures of promotion settings/dealer actions to secure target achievement
  • Ensure monthly review & analyse sales and profitability performance is done and based on PDCA methodology
  • Responsible for monitoring, evaluation of Sales-Trends and changes of general Market-Conditions and advising appropriate actions and followed-up
  • Attend European Sales-Meeting events and processes/procedures
  • Ensure that the monthly Sales F/C operation is managed accurately and improve techniques and systems to improve overall procedures, accuracy, and achievement
  • Responsible for preparation and presentation/organisation of all regular and requested Sales – Budget – and Project related meetings assuring that all presentations are prepared in time, as well as ensuring the increase of quality
  • Based on Genba experience/feedback, contribute to a successful product planning and Marketing function, to support and to deliver best customer focused products and TGT-Oriented Marketing-Strategy

External / Internal relationship management

  • Establish and maintain a high level of communication between the dealer network and the coompany
  • Establish and maintain a high level of communication between Europe and Swiss HQ as well as advise and support other functions within the business
  • Advise and support other functions within the business

 

Stock & Inventory Management

  • Ensure the effective management of ordering process, logistics and supply to the network

 

Project Management

  • Leading and active involvement in the improvement of existing programmes/projects.
  • Based on Business-Need’s propose, initiate, and participate relevant projects to improve overall business constitution.

 

Your profile : 

  • A successful track in similar industry sales company on national base. Ideally should demonstrate a broad-based career history, incorporating:
  1. Extensive field-based dealer network-facing experience.
  2. Experience in other disciplines (eg. Franchising, Business Management, Supply or Marketing)
  3. Roles that have fostered a deep financial understanding.
  4. Fundamental knowledge of Product Planning, Forecast-Management, as well as Dealer & Customer communications.

 

  • Proven and established Leadership & Management skills
  • A balanced portfolio of skills and abilities ranging from strategic business planning to hands-on tactical programme implementation
  • Results oriented, over achiever, comfortable balancing priorities and working to tight deadlines
  • Strategic and commercial thinker, who displays great clarity of vision
  • Strong team player and an inspirational leader
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to quickly build strong business relationships and influence at all levels. Straight talking, open and honest approach
  • High level of personal integrity and standing with good understanding of processes and information-flow
  • Fluent in French / German/ English language
